Fact of the Day: The Sonic Screwdriver

The sonic screwdriver introduced in 2005 was very flimsy, and kept breaking. The toy version was slightly thicker to encorperate a pen - as a result it was more sturdy, and a version of it was used for Series Two in 2006!
